Where In The Scriptures can we find: Xerxes II Of Medo-Persia and The City-States Of Greece?

Xerxes II - The Great - of Medo-Persia.
Are Xerxes II Of Medo-Persia [ the fourth and most powerful of All The Persian Emperors ] and His War With The City-States Of Greece [ including those 300 Spartans At Thermopylae ] ever mentioned within The Scriptures? After all, if The Bible is ' Truly A Book Of Prophecy '... and if, it factually references The Major Historical Events... then, the attempted subjugation of The Greek City-States - the greatest merchants and sea traders of their time - should have clearly been recorded within its prophetical pages. Don't you think so? I sure do....

So, Where In The Scriptures does it mention: Xerxes II Of Medo-Persia and The City-States Of Greece?

In Daniel Chapter 11, We Can Read:
"Also in the first year of Darius The Mede [ Darius I Of Persia - The Great], I [ The Angel Gabriel ], even I [ The Angel Who Is Now Speaking With You ], stood up [ Fought Along Side Of Him ] to confirm him [ Within The Kingdom Of Medo-Persia ] and strengthen him [ By Giving Him The Capital Of Babylon ].
Xerxes - The Great - invades Greece.
And now I will tell you The Truth [ Well In Advance Of Its Factual Occurrence ]: Behold [ You Shall See ], three more kings [ Xerxes I Of Persia, Artaxerxes I Of Persia, and Xerxes II The Great ] will arise in Persia, and the fourth [ Xerxes II, The Great ] shall be far richer than them all [ The Others Which Came Before Him ]; and by his strength [ Both: Politically and Militarily ], and through his wealth [ The Hiring Of Numerous Mercenaries ], he shall stir up all [ The Entire Middle Eastern Peoples ] against The Realm Of Greece [ The Greek City-States ]. - Daniel 11:1-2.

Undoubtedly, most of us have seen the recent blockbuster movie: " 300 " - starring Ralph Richardson as King Leonidas - that portrayed this: Spectacular and Historic Battle [ between: Medo-Persia, and the far smaller City States Of Greece ]. And yet, how many of us have ever stopped to [ actually ] read The Prophetical Scriptures from The Bible? Does this historical revelation seem startling? Well, it shouldn't... because, The Sacred Scriptures are [ exactly ] what they have always claimed to be!

Leonidas of Sparta at Thermopylae.
Moreover, The Prophecies Of Daniel Chapter 11 contain an accurate historical time line, extending 2500 years into the future, from: Darius I Of Medo-Persia, to The Fourth Seal Of Revelation. There is far more, than just: Xerxes II Of Medo-Persia, and The Greek City-States - that are referenced within its 45 solitary verses. Perhaps, you should actually read it sometime....

Ahava and Shalom.

May Yahweh's Own: Love and Peace - be upon you!
